#4 Adam Silver has said NBA expansion is inevitable
Adam Silver is the commissioner for the NBA, so, he knows what he's talking about. In July of 2017, this year, Adam stated, "I don't want to put a precise timeline on it, but it's inevitable at some point we'll start looking at the growth of franchises. That's been the case in this league, and Seattle will no doubt be on the short list of cities we'll look at"
That has to get fans excited. It probably won't be next year, and it might not even be in 5 years, but it's definitely some hope for the future. He says when the time is right, it is a definitely a question. With the NHL getting a new expansion team this year, who are actually doing really good at this point at 9-5-1, I don't know, I just hope Adam Silver follows them for some reason because this issue has been discussed ever since they relocated and became the Oklahoma City Thunder
