This is some big news. For those who don't know, Tim Leiweke is the CEO of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, former CEO of Anschutz Entertainment Group, and has previously managed NBA arenas in Los Angeles and Toronto. He signed a deal with the city stating that Key Arena, will be privately funded by the city with a 600 million dollar renovation project that will make the stadium NFL and NBA ready by 2020.

He also said this month, "We have an ownership group already and that ownership group is very capable of going out and getting a team". Tim has also said he is Seattle's "best chance" to bring the Supersonics back. This is huge news for the Supersonics because a stadium renovation would really pump up this city. Tim has said that "I believe Seattle is going to get a team, but it may take 5-10 years" He is a very confident man, and somebody the city of Seattle can get behind. I believe in Tim Leiweke, do you?
