How have Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan reacted to Larsa Pippen dating Marcus Jordan? Larsa reveals difference in the discussion with both

While Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen may arguably be the greatest duo to have ever graced the court, it's no secret that they had a rocky relationship. Over the course of their time with the Chicago Bulls, the two were able to make things work on the floor despite their differences.

Despite that, teammates have made it clear that Jordan never hesitated to be the 'bad cop' on the team, while Pippen handled the 'good cop' role. During practices and games when Jordan would berate teammates, it was Pippen who would swoop in with far more tact.

Although their rivalry off the court has been well documented, things took an unexpected turn when Michael's son, Marcus, began dating Pippen's ex-wife.

Larsa Pippen has continued to make headlines in recent years thanks to her controversial relationship history.

When fans found out that she was dating the son of her ex-husband's rival, the reactions began to pour in. The story got to the point where the new couple was filmed and heckled at a baseball game as a fan cracked jokes about the pair's savage 'friendship'.

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in December where Marcus sat in the audience, Larsa spoke about the situation. After being questioned, she stated that she "didn't know" what he ex-husband thought of the matter. When pressed further, she stated that the ex-couple had never discussed things.

As she explained, although people are very invested in the new relationship, the Jordan family and the Pippen family were never involved behind the scenes. While Jordan and Scottie found great success on the court together, their families didn't spend extended periods of time together.

According to Larsa, she never knew Marcus or his mom growing up like many have suggested, only meeting them a couple of years ago.

So where does the pair stand now? And what does Michael think of the relationship? Michael is yet to publicly comment on his son's relationship.

Larsa recently appeared on Tamron Hall Show to discuss the romance.

According to her, the pair have a lot of mutual friends, which makes it easy for them to look past the massive age gap between the two. After spending the holidays with Marcus and his family, which many assume includes Michael Jordan himself, Larsa admitted that the couple were in a good place.

“When you’re an adult, I think your parents just want to see you happy. My parents want to see me happy, his parents want to see him happy.”

From the sound of things, although Michael hasn't commented publicly, the fact that Larsa spent the holiday with the Jordans seems like a good sign.

Given that Larsa didn't know Marcus until a few years ago, many have wondered how the friendship turned into a romance. During an interview with People, Larsa admitted that it was she who pursued Marcus after feeling jealous.

"I think it was one night we went out and there was a girl that was there. She was trying to talk to him, and I was getting jealous over it. And it was weird because I'm not really the jealous person, but I was jealous over the situation. And so then, I was thinking maybe I do really like him. That kind of sealed the deal."
