LeBron James, arguably the greatest basketball player of his generation, also makes this rare list.

He was part of the 2004 Athens bronze medal finish, and just like in 1988, this bronze medal triggered the formation of the 'Redeem Team'. The 2008 Redeem Team was the greatest collection of basketball talent at the time, and Team USA cruised through the competition earning the gold medal.

LeBron James was also a part of the 2012 London Olympics. where he led Team USA to another gold medal finish. He recorded the first-ever triple-double in USA Olympics history with 11 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists. His 12-assist total was a joint-high for the USA at the Olympics.

LeBron James is also the most successful NBA player today. He is the only active player with four NBA titles to his name.

He was named the Finals MVP in all four championships. James went to four straight NBA Finals, and won back-to-back NBA titles in 2012 and 2013 with the Miami Heat. He then went to four straight NBA Finals with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and won the 2016 NBA title defeating the historic 73-9 Golden State Warriors and the two-time reigning MVP Stephen Curry.

James won his fourth ring with the LA Lakers in the 2020 NBA Finals in the Orlando bubble, winning the historic playoff run in the middle of a global pandemic.
