#3 Andre Iguodala is still a possibility for the Lakers

Andre Iguodala has yet to play for the Memphis Grizzlies following his surprise summer trade from the Golden State Warriors. At 35, Iguodala has no place on a rebuilding Grizzlies roster, and the team is actively attempting to find a trade. However, Heavy.com is reporting that the 35-year-old could still join the Lakers via a buyout:

Memphis plans to wait on a buyout with Iguodala until February’s trade deadline. The Grizzlies are still holding out hope that a trade can be worked out... If not, Iguodala will be cut loose from Memphis and free to sign with whomever he chooses - around the league, that’s expected to be the Lakers.

Iguodala is owed $17 million for the 2019-20 season and the Grizzlies will be reluctant to take salary back as part of a trade. Iguodala may be nearing the end of his career, although he demonstrated his worth during the 2019 playoffs as he averaged 9.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 4.0 assists over 23 appearances.
