#1 James Ennis III
James Ennis III signed a two-year, $3.4 million contract with the Rockets back in July. His arrival in Houston came after he started the 17/18 season as a member of Grizzlies, but ended the season on the Pistons. His career averages of 6.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 0.9 assists do not read particularly well, however, Ennis has proved to be a hit in Houston.
The 28-year-old has surprisingly started 22 games for the Rockets, and he has averaged 8.0 points-per-game while shooting .363 from behind the arc. On the defensive end, Ennis is also providing one steal per game and is averaging a career-high 0.5 blocks per game.
The small forward has done everything that was expected of him when he joined the Rockets on a two-year minimum deal back in July, and the Rockets should be reluctant to use him in any deal to acquire new talent.
