#1 Lou Williams and his hot shooting streak
Lou Williams is again in contention for winning the 6th Man of the Year and rightly so. No, player comes off the bench and gives such a hot scoring spurt for their team like Lou.
This match was a classic example of it. The match was fairly close until Lou checked in and took over. The Lakers clearly didn’t have an answer for him and he was dancing his way around with them.
In today’s match Lou scored 36 points on 11 of 18 shooting. He has also been averaging 18.2 points per game on 38.7% shooting from the arc throughout the season.
If his hot streak continues and he keeps coming in with such amazing performances for the Clippers then he is in line to win another 6th man of the year award.
In their next game, the Clippers will face the Spurs in Staples Center while the Lakers will host the Kings, hopefully with LeBron James in the line-up.
