#2 NBA record for most combined three-pointers in a single game
While the Kings-Warriors matchup was exciting, it was also a historic one as both teams combined for 41 three-pointers and created the NBA record for most combined three-pointers in a single game.
The Warriors, led by Steph Curry with 10 three-pointers, went 21-for-47 from behind the arc and the Kings, led by Buddy Hield (8-for-13) and Justin Jackson (5-for-7), hit 20-for-36 from downtown. Klay Thompson shot 3-for-6 from distance and this was his fourth straight game where he shot over 50 percent from the three-point line.
This is also the first time that both teams shot at least 20 three-pointers in a single game. The previous record for highest combined three-pointers was 40 three-pointers, set by Cleveland Cavaliers (21) and Minnesota Timberwolves (19) last season.
