While Giannis Antetokounmpo averages 27.0 points, 12.6 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks and is definitely one of the front-runners to win the MVP, Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid is having a great season and is going unnoticed.

He averages 27.3 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks. He is averaging a career high in both points and rebounds and is becoming the dominant player fans expected him to be.

Embiid and the Sixers sit fourth in the Eastern. While he plays well always, one of his biggest issues is staying healthy. Embiid has knee issues and the Sixers are unsure of the severity and he remains out until the Sixers reevaluate his injury.

Although Embiid is playing well, his season is going unnoticed (compared to Harden and Antetokounmpo). Embiid might not win MVP this year, but should still be considered.
