In the second quarter, at 8:31 mark, the Pelicans were down by as much as 14 points. That is when Davis dunked on Enes Kanter to let the Knicks know that the Pelicans were not going down without a fight. He scored 23 points in the first half but the Pelicans were down by 10 at the half-time period.

He came out stronger in the third quarter and scored 14 points to cut the Knicks' lead to 8 after three quarters. Jrue Holiday came up big in the fourth quarter and added 14 points of his own and the Pelicans held off the Knicks, 129-124.
