An offensive threat point guard build in NBA 2K22 essentially only cares about scoring and putting the ball in the hoop so your Finishing and Shooting abilities will be prioritized over the Defense/Rebounding and Playmaking.

Takeover: Spot Up Shooter

To set your potential with this build in NBA 2K22, as mentioned earlier, you will prioritize Finishing and Shooting attributes. Max out the top three in Finishing - Close Shot, Driving Layup and Dunk and max out the top three in Shooting as well - Mid-Range, Three-point and Free throw shot. Also max out the Ball Handle and/or Pass accuracy in the Playmaking Category as it will give you more opportunities to score for yourself or create shots for your teammates through gravity.

The rest of the attributes can be evenly distributed with added emphasis on Finishing and Shooting. To set up potential for this NBA 2K22 point guard build, you will need to max out the first two Finishing attributes - Close Shot and Driving layup. Driving Dunk can be halfway filled (up to 60). You need to max out everything in Shooting - Mid-range, Three-point and free throw shot along with Post fade. One alternative is if you max out the first three and keep Post Fade as 77 or 78 as it will give you enough shooting badges and also leave attribute upgrades for rest.

The rest of the Finishing badges can either be left as it is or get minor upgrades like one or two points each depending on how much upgrades you have left for this NBA 2K22 build. Playmaking attributes need to be maxed out except Post Control which can be upgraded by a few points.
