One aspect of Carmelo which is not so popular is that he is a great businessman. By playing in China, he can increase his business by moving more and more merchandise abroad. He would be one of the biggest NBA stars to make that move so there will be quite a hype. The business would surely be on the rise.

Not only business, but he can also keep his career alive for a few more years. He can play like he used to before. He can gain that confidence which he has lost over the last few seasons in the NBA. He can prove to himself and the others that he has still got a lot in him. He can be a legend there.
In my opinion, Melo should play overseas if he wants to keep both the aspects of his life alive.
