The Indiana Pacers have been managing just fine without their star, Victor Oladipo. Their newest addition in Malcolm Brogdon has proven to be an all-round package, as he averages a career-high 18.3 points and 7.6 assists per game.

Across the 26 games played so far, the 27-year-old point guard has been shooting 46% from the field and making over 93% of his free-throws with surgical precision. As the Pacers rank sixth in the Eastern Conference behind a 21-12 (0.636) record, it is highly unlikely that the team might accomodate two All-Stars this year.

Chances of Brogdon missing out on All-Star glory are excacerbated by Domantas Sabonis' dominant showing so far. Although for the greater good, but their collective package might not be able to appear on All-Star weekend as a couple. Moreover, the abundance of elite level players in the Eastern Conference does not allow the presence of two sub-20 ppg individuals from the same squad.
