NBA Daily Notes: The Lakers lose again; Top fantasy picks for January 7th

New York Knicks v Los Angeles Lakers

PG 1 - Mike Conley Jr. (Memphis Grizzlies)

The Memphis Grizzlies have been playing really bad and are struggling of late. They have won just 2 of their last 10 matches and have lost 5 on the trot. They had started their season exceptionally well but have not been able to sustain their form.

They have an 18-21 record and are in the 12th spot, just 2.5 games behind the playoff spot so all is not yet lost. Mike Conley is the player who should be able to bring them back up to their best.

Conley has been having a great season as of now, since his return from injury, averaging more than 20 points per game this season, along with 6 assists and just over 3 rebounds a game. In the loss to the San Antonio Spurs, Conley played just 25 minutes but managed to grab 21 points, along with 3 assists and 1 rebound.

The Grizzlies have been in a slump and need Conley to play at his best if they need to try and get a win against the New Orleans Pelicans tomorrow.

Alternate pick: D'Angelo Russell (Brooklyn Nets)
