In the lockout season of 2011-12, the Heat faced Atlanta on the 5th of January. Chris Bosh would have to carry the team to victory without the help of star teammates LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.

The Heat's starting five consisted of Bosh alongside Shane Battier, Mario Chalmers, Joel Anthony and James Jones. In an absolute nail-biter of a game, Bosh scored 33 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. Chalmers played a significant role, scoring 29 points for the game.

However, the highlight for the game came from Chris Bosh's late three-pointer to tie the game and send it to the first OT. Catching the ball out on the right wing, Bosh's fadeaway with less than three seconds to play was pure. With less than 0.6 seconds left in the game, the Heat would take the game into OT.

In the first year of the Big Three era, the Heat would face off against the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The Celtics were a superpower served by the likes of Kevin Garnett, Rajon Rondo, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen.

Miami had a 2-1 series lead heading into Game Four at the TD Garden in Boston. The game was tight going into the fourth quarter as Paul Pierce seemed hard to contain for the Heat.

As the game came down to the wire, Miami had a three-point lead with 32 seconds left in OT. The ball was in LeBron's hands and he had Garnett defending him.

LeBron entered the 19 foot range to take a stepback jumper only to have it bounce off the front of the iron. But Bosh would emerge in front, boxing out Ray Allen to tip the ball in and secure a five-point lead and a win for the Miami Heat.

Bosh ended the game with 20 points and 12 rebounds and the Heat would go on to beat the Celtics 4-1.

In the closing moments of the fourth quarter in Game Six, the San Antonio Spurs held a three-point lead. With the Spurs taking a series lead of 3-2, the Heat's title hopes seemed all but over. With 12 seconds of the clock, LeBron James pulled up for a three-point shot from the left wing.

As the shot missed its mark, Bosh cut to the basket to grab the board. With the presence of mind to see Ray Allen back pedaling to the right corner, he kicked it out to him. Allen made a three-pointer to send the game to overtime.

Bosh would produce more late-game heroics in overtime. With a one-point lead, Bosh put up a block on Tony Parker with 30 seconds left in OT. A foul call on San Antonio allowed the Heat to extend the lead to three.

The final Spurs play saw a long cross court pass from out of bounds to cut Danny Green to the right side for a three. Bosh switched on to Green and chased him down to the corner, blocking his shot and putting a full stop on the victory.

The rest is history as the Miami Heat went on to beat the Spurs and emerge as NBA Champions in 2013.
