Kelly Oubre Jr resigns with the Phoenix Suns

Kelly Oubre Jr. was one of the best remaining free agents left on the market, although ESPN is reporting that the 23-year-old has opted to sign a new two-year deal with the Phoenix Suns:

Restricted free agent Kelly Oubre Jr. has agreed to a two-year, $30 million deal to stay with the Phoenix Suns, agent Nima Namakian of BDA Sports told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Oubre Jr. was acquired from the Washington Wizards at the trade deadline, and he went on to play 40 games for the Suns, averaging 16.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
Oubre, who was selected with the 15th overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft will now play a prominent role in Phoenix's efforts to re-establish themselves as a playoff team.
