Carmelo Anthony is still on the search for a new team ahead of the new season and David Aldridge of The Athletic recently spoke to several executives around the league regarding Melo's future. While most agreed that Anthony's game hadn't aged well, one unnamed Western Conference executive stated that he sees the veteran as a good fit for the Heat or Trail Blazers:

Miami, if he is willing to work with (Pat) Riley hard on conditioning. He can replace D-Wade's scoring. Or, Portland. They play a lot of isolation basketball and they need another scorer.

Anthony has recently been linked with the Brooklyn Nets, with some sources claiming that Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant were pushing for his arrival. However, both the Trail Blazers and Heat could use Melo's production from the bench.
