Enes Kanter unlikely to return to the Thunder

Enes Kanter was back in Oklahoma City over the weekend as he hosted his annual youth basketball camp. Kanter, who played for the Thunder between 2015-2017, was linked with a return to the franchise in February, and fans at the event expressed their desire to see the Turkish star return this summer.

However, Arthur Hill is reporting that Kanter will prove to be too expensive for Billy Donovan's team this summer:

While Kanter might be too pricey for the Thunder to consider, he can count on receiving a lot of offers after rebuilding his stock in Portland following his release by the Knicks.
Kanter was released by the Knicks back in February, and he went on to play a key role in Portland's run to the Western Conference Finals. In 16 postseason appearances, he averaged 11.4 points and 9.7 rebounds, while shooting at more than 50% from the field.
