Shaq wants Laker fans to give Frank Vogel a chance

While a deal has yet to be formally announced, it has been widely reported that Frank Vogel has agreed on a three-year deal to replace Luke Walton as head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Vogel's impending arrival hasn't been well received by fans, with some questioning his ability to coach a contending team. However, Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal has told the Los Angeles Times that fans should get behind the former Pacers coach:

Give him a chance. That’s the least people can do. He did a good job in Indiana, right? So give him a chance to see if he does a good job with the Lakers.
Vogel most recently coached the Orlando Magic for two years, although he was fired after the conclusion of the 17/18 season.
