Terry Rozier has demonstrated his value to the Boston Celtics over the last few years, although his future with the team is in doubt due to Kyrie Irving being set to sign a new max deal with the Celtics. If the All-Star resigns, Rozier will be confined to the bench for the foreseeable future, a fate that the 24-year-old has made clear that he won't accept.

Rozier has a $4,285,797 qualifying option on his contract for the 19/20 season, although the Celtics will be willing to complete a deal before the summer. The Orlando Magic have built an extremely young roster that can develop together, and Rozier fits into this theme. Rozier has also demonstrated his ability to make an impact as a starting guard, as during last seasons playoffs, Rozier averaged 16.5 points, 5.7 assists, and 5.4 rebounds.
