According to several NBA trade rumors, the Miami Heat are one of the teams keeping their eye on Collin Sexton. They are amongst the teams looking to expand their backcourt and are willing to part ways with Tyler Herro and Kendrick Nunn. The Heat have been linked to point guards like Ben Simmons, Kyle Lowry and Lonzo Ball but Collin Sexton is one that fits well with the team.

Complementing Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo with a scoring-focused guard like Collin Sexton can do wonders. He could thrive as the primary point guard for the Heat with Victor Oladipo in the backcourt. Duncan Robinson could move to the small forward position and the Heat would have a complete roster. Even if Oladipo is part of the trade package, either Herro or Nunn can be the replacement.

#3 Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers had an abysmal series in the Eastern Conference semifinals which resulted in an elimination despite being the 1st seed in the conference. Ben Simmons, their starting point guard, collapsed offensively and the front office is now in the market for a new PG. Simmons' lack of shooting made him a liability on the floor, so much so that Coach Doc Rivers had to bench him during crunch time.

However, rumors suggest that the Sixers aren't looking to swap the two point guards. But if the Cavaliers can offer an enticing package, like adding Kevin Love or Jarrett Allen along with several picks, the Sixers might reconsider.

Collin Sexton solves the main problem plaguing Joel Embiid and the Sixers, which is spacing. With Sexton on the floor along with Seth Curry and Danny Green, the floor would open up for Joel Embiid to operate. Moreover, they will finally have a perimeter threat at the point guard position, which will take the scoring load off Embiid.

Honorable Mention

Boston Celtics: They have also been in the market for a point guard ever since they traded away Kemba Walker in exchange for Al Horford. Although no such trade has been floated around, Boston is a fringe title-contending team and could be a destination for Collin Sexton.
