The Milwaukee Bucks' golden run continues this season, and they are currently placed at the second spot in the Eastern Conference with 30-12 win-loss record. Led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, this team has been performing exceptionally well and are definitely going to make some noise in the playoffs.

The Bucks are already looking like true contenders and have beat other association powerhouses like Golden State, Houston, Toronto (twice) this season. The team is built to win championships but in the NBA, when you have a team like Golden State, who will have five All-Star starters come playoffs, you cannot get complacent.

The front office cannot slack and needs to keep looking for ways to get better and be at their best in the playoffs. In this article, we take a look at the three players the Bucks need to trade for to bolster their lineup.

#3 Kevin Love

Kevin Love is currently out of action with a toe injury and he doesn't have a clear timetable at this point in time. However, once he returns, the rumours will start again and several NBA teams will look at him more cautiously.

In the 2018 offseason, Love signed a four-year, $120 million contract extension with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The value Love brings to the table is not something unknown and he can be a great stretch option playing alongside the 'Greek Freak'.

Love played a huge part when the Cavaliers won the title in 2016 and even though his numbers took a dip when he came to Cleveland from Minnesota, no one can question the impact he creates on the game.

The Bucks can trade Ersan Ilyasova as part of the deal for Love and it will definitely help this team in the playoffs. However, the team would also want to look at how he performs once he is back before going for him.

#2 Bradley Beal

Bradley Beal is currently having the best season of his NBA career and is putting up strong performances on a consistent basis. With John Wall out for the season, Beal has a lot of burden on his shoulders, and he is giving his best for the team.

It was earlier reported that the franchise is willing to trade away John Wall and Bradley Beal. The Bucks can get a reliable scorer like Beal in exchange for someone like Khris Middleton along with Tony Snell.

Beal's consistent scoring will help this team in the playoffs when teams start playing tough defense. He signed a 5-year, $127,171,313 contract with the Washington Wizards during the 2016 off-season.

He is averaging 24.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game this season and is playing the best basketball right now. However, the asking price can go up and it is unlikely that the Bucks would trade for him.

#1 Robin Lopez

Robin Lopez has not gotten a lot of minutes this season and it was bound to happen with the emergence of young centers like Wendell Carter Jr., Lauri Markannen and Cristiano Felicio. Playing just over 16 minutes per game, Robin is averaging career-low numbers and is not able to create an impact on the team.

The Bucks can use the Stanford product as a backup for his twin brother, Brook Lopez. However, it also depends on what the Chicago Bulls demand in return for this trade to be successful for both the parties.

The Bucks can wait for Robin to become an unrestricted free agent and go at him after the February trade deadline. However, there are going to be several teams that would throw in their hat for Robin post-February. Only time will tell us if we would get to see the brothers play together in Milwaukee.
