Michael Jordan was in attendance to watch his Charlotte Hornets get beaten by the Orlando Magic by double-digits. Jordan looked like a broken man on the sidelines, which sparked new memes on social media.

Cameras caught MJ's exasperated look with around three minutes left in the third quarter. The Hornets were down by 22 points at that point and on their way to their 45th loss of the season. They put up a fight in the fourth quarter but still lost to the Magic 117-106.

Kelly Oubre Jr. had 29 points, 10 rebounds and two assists for the Hornets, but it wasn’t enough. Terry Rozier contributed 22 points and six assists, while Gordon Hayward added 17 points and seven assists.

Meanwhile, Paolo Banchero led the Magic with 31 points, six rebounds and five assists. Jalen Suggs, Cole Anthony and Moritz Wagner came off the bench to score a combined 44 points.

It has been a miserable season for Michael Jordan and the Charlotte Hornets. LaMelo Ball has been plagued by ankle injuries and was recently ruled out for the season due to a fractured right ankle.

Nevertheless, the Hornets are on their way to another losing season. As cameras captured MJ's reaction, Twitter went into overdrive and created several memes. We all know the crying Jordan meme will pop up.

Is Michael Jordan the worst owner in the NBA today?

The Charlotte Hornets have made the playoffs three times during Michael Jordan's tenure as owner. They have not won a postseason series since they were the original Hornets franchise in 2002.

Jordan's draft choices have been atrocious over the years, with LaMelo Ball being the only great pick. Miles Bridges was also a masterstroke before he got into trouble last summer. So, does that make MJ the worst owner in the NBA currently?

James Dolan of the New York Knicks and Vivek Randive of the Sacramento Kings are the two owners who come to mind. However, the Knicks are poised to make the playoffs this season. The Kings are third in the Western Conference and are on course to snap their postseason drought.

The Hornets, meanwhile, are heading to the lottery. It's a very talented draft class filled with great prospects like Victor Wembanyama, Scoot Henderson and Brandon Miller. If the Hornets get the luck of the draw, it might be tough for MJ to screw another pick.
