Ja Morant's suspension has finally been lifted, and he is now back with the Memphis Grizzlies. He didn't play on Monday night against the Dallas Mavericks, however, he was already present on the bench wearing his street clothes. Morant is now working on getting back into game shape before returning to the court. Apparently, his suspension has taught him a lesson, and it seems like Ja has reformed a bit.

During an interview during the Grizzlies practice, Ja Morant was asked whether or not he'd be active again on social media like he once was. Morant made it clear that his goal right now is to help his team and work on improving himself. He's realized the damage done by his actions and will try to stay away from that type of situation as much as possible. Morant said:

"I won't be doing that at all. Me saying things, you know actions speak louder than words. That's my main focus now. Obviously, super excited to be back with my teammates. That's the main thing right now. Right now, it’s about keeping the main thing the main thing and going through this process of becoming a better me.”

Will the Memphis Grizzlies get the same Ja Morant coming into the playoffs?

Ever since his rookie season, Ja Morant has proven himself to be one of the most explosive players in the NBA today. He kind of looks like a young Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook. However, every veteran in the league knows that one bad break can potentially turn your career around. Morant recently got suspended for inappropriate behavior and received a lot of backlash for it.

Having said that, the situation could get to Ja's head and affect his game mentally. Prior to his suspension, the Memphis Grizzlies star had a double-double outing against the Denver Nuggets on March 3. Morant added 27 points, 10 assists, four rebounds, and two steals. The Grizzlies guard admitted that staying away from the court for too long would give him court rust.

Considering these two factors, it kind of worries Memphis fans about whether Morant's usual explosiveness will be present coming into the playoffs. Fortunately, Ja is back in training with the team and has publicly announced that he'll be working on improving himself.
