Jaylen Brown gets adorable response from UK model on IG following birthday wish

Boston Celtics All-Star Jaylen Brown's Instagram comment to London-based model/actress Suzie Micael saw a reply weeks after her post.

The incoming eight-year player dropped “Fav" in the comments section of Micael’s post as she celebrated her birthday. She responded with an emoji of a smiling face with hearts.

Then, when Jaylen Brown posted a photo of him in the green uniform of the Celtics during media day earlier this month, it was the model’s turn to comment with an analyzing emoji.

27-year-old Brown, who celebrated his birthday on October 24, has been low-key as far as his love life is concerned, choosing to have his game spotlighted more.

So far, he has been doing well since being selected third overall by Boston in the 2016 rookie draft. Last year, he posted career-highs of 26.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 36 minutes of play, earning his second NBA All-Star selection.

The Celtics fell one win short of making it back to the NBA Finals last season, losing to the Miami Heat in Game Seven of the Eastern Conference finals.

This time around, Jaylen Brown and the Celtics will try to go deeper in the competition with a shored-up roster, which now includes fellow All-Stars Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis.

Boston begins its 2023-24 NBA campaign on Wednesday, October 25, in an away game against rivals New York Knicks.

Jaylen Brown wants to use money from huge extension deal well

Boston Celtics stalwart Jaylen Brown wants to use the money from the record five-year, $304-million supermax extension deal he signed this offseason well through the various causes he supports.

Among the things he wants to address is the wealth disparity in the city where he plays in by creating what he described as a “Black Wall Street.”

He shared in a media conference after signing the record contract:

“I want to launch a project to bring Black Wall Street here in Boston. I want to attack the wealth disparity here. I think there’s analytics that supports that stimulating the wealth gap could actually be something that could be better for the entire economy.”

To go about it, Jaylen Brown said he plans to collaborate with various individuals to see his plans through and together make a difference.

Since being drafted third overall by the Celtics in 2016, Brown has been at the forefront of some social causes. His insights have been so valuable that at the age of 22, he became the youngest elected vice-president of the National Basketball Players Association.

The extension deal that Brown signed will kick in at the start of the 2024-25 season and will run through the 2028-29 NBA campaign.
