The Milwaukee Bucks slumped to their sixth straight defeat on Monday and NBA fans channeled their frustration to the team's coaching duo of Doc Rivers and Darvin Ham.

Milwaukee played the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road, hoping to turn things around after losing five straight. While the team competed hard even without resident superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo (hip injury), they still wound up on the raw side, 116-114, to drop to 1-6 for the season.

Fans had their say on the Bucks' slide with many pinning the blame on their coaching staff. Below are what some of them wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

One fan highlighted the leadership, or lack of, from coaches Rivers and Ham, writing:

"'Fire Doc and Ham,' a user suggested."
"'COACH DUMB & DUMBER,' another one highlighted."
"'I can't stand them.' a fan, meanwhile, made it known."

Other comments circled around the team had no one to blame for the slide but itself.

"'Honestly I don't even feel bad at this point, this is the bed we made, now we gotta lie in it,' a comment from a fan surmised."
Another said, 'The Bucks made their bed when they fired their coach.'"

Some fans just felt bad for the Bucks, who were among the penciled in contenders at the start of the season.

"'Yikes. Yea,, Yikes.. Not a good look for Milwaukee,' one fan wrote."
"'Bad performance,' another comment put it plainly."

Following the loss to the Cavaliers, Rivers' overall record with the Bucks since coming on board midway last season dropped to 18-25. He replaced Adrian Griffin, in what many considered as a surprise move after the latter helped the Bucks to a 30-13 record in 43 games in his first year with the team.

In the offseason, the Bucks hired Ham from the LA Lakers to join Rivers' coaching staff and help the team in its push to bounce back after being eliminated in the opening round of the playoffs last season.

Doc Rivers admits Bucks still figuring things out

The Milwaukee Bucks' struggles are not lost to head coach Doc Rivers. He said that it is a result of the team still figuring things out as they continue to play without some key pieces.

Rivers opened up on the matter following their road loss to Cleveland in the front end of their back-to-back games against the Cavaliers on Saturday, saying:

"We gotta figure that out, that's on us. We have not found the correct rotation yet, and we have to."

The Bucks are without All-Star forward Khris Middleton (ankle), which Doc Rivers said affects their bench production. Then on Monday in the second of their back-to-back against the Cavaliers, they also played without Giannis Antetokounmpo (hip).

Despite the struggles, Rivers and the Bucks remain hopeful of a turnaround. They return to action against the Utah Jazz at home on Thursday.
