The NBA is no stranger to stars banding together to form a superteam to compete for a championship. LeBron James, for all of his achievements throughout his career, has been teammates with a stellar list of All-Stars including Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook.

On "The Bill Simmons Podcast," Simmons talked about his speculation on how things will shape up for the Dallas Mavericks moving forward.

"I have my half-baked idea/ prediction for Draymond next season," Simmons said. "I think he ends up in Dallas with Kyrie and Luka, and then LeBron tries to figure out a way to get there, eventually. That's my prediction."

The stars that Simmons mentioned are all in interesting situations with their current teams in the Western Conference.

LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic are competing to secure a spot in the Play-In Tournament, while Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors are pushing for the sixth seed before the regular season ends.

A possible team-up in Dallas with that much star-power is sure to make some noise in the regular season and in the playoffs next year.

With LeBron James' veteran leadership and the scoring prowess of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, combined with Draymond Green connecting everything on offense and defense, that lineup can rival any team that the league can offer.

Lakers, Mavericks and Warriors' regular season struggles

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers (37-38) are ninth in the Western Conference, Donic and Irving's Mavericks (37-39) are eleventh and Draymond Green's Warriors (39-37) are seventh.

These three teams have all underperformed to the expectations set upon them this season either through multiple injuries, lack of chemistry or depth.

As the regular season is in its final stretch of games before the playoffs roll in, it will be interesting to see how each of their situations develop during and after the playoffs given the struggles they experienced throughout the season.
