Brandon Ingram’s status has been the major talking point for the New Orleans Pelicans ahead of their game against the Toronto Raptors. Ingram is listed as "questionable" with a calf injury for Wednesday's game against the Raptors.
The Pelicans have been hit with an injury crisis in recent weeks, with key players Zion Williamson, Jose Alvarado and Herbert Jones picking up serious injuries and unlikely to return to action soon. Ingram, who missed the previous game against the Pacers due to a calf ailment, could also miss this one. However, Dejounte Murray should return to the lineup for the first time since the season opener.
Ingram also missed practice on Tuesday, as reported by Will Guillory of The Athletic. On top of that, he’s leaving his agency, Excel Sports.

Brandon Ingram's performance so far this season
The 27-year-old has been a bright spark in an otherwise turbulent campaign for the Pelicans. He leads the team in scoring with 22.9 points per game and assists with 5.4 per game.
He played 16 games out of 18 this campaign and will need to stay injury-free and be as reliable this year if the Pelicans have any chance at staying in the playoff picture.
The Pelicans sit at rock bottom of the conference standings with four wins in 18 games. They are winless in five consecutive games. It's left Willie Green as the favorite to be the next coach sacked, and that's perhaps understandable given the run of games that lay ahead.
Pelicans' next five games include Cavaliers, Grizzlies, Knicks, Hawks and Suns.
Brandon Ingram's stat vs Toronto Raptors
Brandon Ingram is averaging 20.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in 14 games against the Raptors with a 5-9 record.
Wednesday’s game marks the first meeting between the two teams this season. The Pels swept the season series last year, notching 139-98 and 138-100 victories, respectively.
