Drake has been gearing up for another round of rap diss battles against Kendrick Lamar. The rapper turned to Instagram to let the world know about his plans to get back at his rival Lamar, who dropped hit songs “euphoria” and “Not Like Us” in their ongoing rap feud.

In a cryptic post, the Canadian rapper shared an iconic interview with former NBA star Rasheed Wallace in 2004 dubbed “Guransheed,” where he guaranteed that the Detroit Pistons would win Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Indiana Pacers.

"Y'all put it on the front page, back page, middle of the page… we will win Game 2," Wallace said in the clip Drake posted on his Instagram.

Wallace and the Pistons eventually won the series and the NBA championship that year after upsetting the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals, ending their three-peat run.

However, NBA fans roasted Drake for his referenced remarks, dismissing his attempt for game two as they believe Kendrick Lamar has dominated their rap beef.

“How can you win game 2 if you lost the series?,” said one fan.
“Bro you got swept,” said another fan.

A fan called their feud the Super Bowl of rap, instead of the NBA Finals. The Super Bowl is the NFL’s single-elimination championship game, while the NBA Finals is a seven-game series.

“Drake, that was the superbowl of rap beef. There is no game two,” the fan wrote.

Other fans suggested that it is time to move on from the rap beef since Lamar won the feud by creating hits about his diss for Drake. Some also said that he has to move on from it, the same way Lamar has moved on in the past month.

“His stans say Kendrick milked it but Kendrick went back to real life 2 months ago and this lame ass boy still tryna pump life into it,” said one fan.
“This guy needs to stay out of hip hop low key, all of his antics are looking so bad. Just stick to the melodies,” said another fan.

“Yo, his fans should tell him to wrap it up, Kendrick has dusted him out,” said one fan.

Drake released three new songs last Friday on his social media titled “Circadian Rhythm,” “SOD,” and “No Face,” which also featured rapper Playboi Carti. The songs were about the guys that remained by his side during the rap feud, with some rebuttals to Lamar’s earlier diss tracks.

Drake gets support from Kevin Durant amid rap feud

Drake has a loyal supporter on his side in the form of NBA superstar and four-time Olympic champion Kevin Durant. The two were seen hanging out together on July 1 to celebrate Canada Day.

Durant was also mentioned in his latest track, “No Face” where he indicated how close he is to the basketball star.

"Husher keep saying they know that they played it wrong/KD just text what the f*ck are we waiting on," the lyrics said.

Durant’s support came after other NBA stars such as LeBron James, DeMar DeRozan, and Russell Westbrook seemingly sided with Kendrick Lamar by attending his concert in Los Angeles last month.
