"Clutch even in season 20"- NBA fans applaud LeBron James for game-winning bucket in a dominant 37 point performance against Jazz

Los Angeles Lakers v Utah Jazz
LeBron James drives to the rim

LA Lakers superstar LeBron James came through for his team by delivering a clutch performance against the Utah Jazz on Tuesday night. With James also scoring the game-winning bucket for the Lakers, NBA fans couldn't help but applaud the 38-year old for his display.

The LA Lakers came out of Utah with a tight win in overtime. The 135-133 scoreline was a perfect description of how close the game really was.

The Purple and Gold managed to coast for the majority of regulation. Although the Jazz would go on sporadic scoring runs, the Lakers would see players step up to keep the lead.

The Lakers' tenacity gave way late in the fourth as Utah made a furious comeback. LeBron had the opportunity to put things away in the fourth itself. Unfortunately, a missed layup would see the game go to OT.

The last five minutes saw Utah and LA trade baskets. However, the deadlock was broken by LeBron James, who made a clutch game-winning layup.

With 37-points on the night, James saved the Lakers' playoff aspirations alive. Needless to say, NBA fans were also impressed by the superstar's performance. Here are some of the best fan reactions to James' epic performance:

James produced some costly turnovers that almost saw the game slip away from the Lakers. However, he also produced some timely baskets to secure the win. Overall, the performance could be considered balanced.

Although LA played an undermanned Jazz side, the Lakeshow will take every win they can get. Having risen to sixth in the West, the Purple and Gold could be on their way to securing a spot in the playoffs.

LeBron James will be crucial for the next two games

It goes without saying that every game is crucial for the LA Lakers at this juncture. With two tough games coming up, the Lakers will need LeBron James available on the floor.

The Lakers are set to play the LA Clippers on Wednesday, followed by the Phoenix Suns on Friday. Both teams have given the Purple and Gold a tough time this season.

Although LeBron has been coasting for the most part since returning from injury, he will have to start ramping up his output.

Concerns regarding his availability for the back-to-back against the Clippers are valid. While there has been no indication regarding his status, James may likely sit out the matchup as he fully recovers from injury.

While this could drastically affect the Lakers' chances against their neighborhood rivals, the team would be better off with LeBron James at a 100% against Phoenix.
