The Dallas Mavericks flew to Hollywood a couple of days ago to take on the LA Clippers in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Luka Doncic and crew surged late in the regular season to wrest the No. 5 seed from a few contenders to set a date with a familiar foe. As the No. 4 seed, the Clippers host the Mavericks in what's likely going to be a slam-bang showdown.
The Mavericks are -2.5 favorites leading into Game 1 despite being on the road. Bookies have given them the edge, as the hosts will likely take the court without the injured Kawhi Leonard. Inversely, LA gets a +2.5 odds for the matchup.
The moneyline for the Dallas Mavericks is set at -150, while it's +125 for the LA Clippers. The over/under total points between the two teams is 222.5 at -110, whichever way bettors go.
