Luka Doncic has impressed many people with his incredible style of play since entering the league in 2018. With him, the Dallas Mavericks have been a treat to watch in the Western Conference. The Mavs have become an elite team since his arrival and will likely stay that way.

Former NBA player Walt Williams has been captivated by Doncic's style of play. In the latest episode of "The BallFather Podcast," a Sporskeeda exclusive, Williams commented on Luka's ability to improve his team and control the pace despite not being the quickest guy on the floor.

"He is poised," Williams said. "Sometimes he'll go to the basket, and dudes are jumping in the air trying to block his shot before he even leaves the ground. He's still on the ground. He hasn't even left or gotten in the air yet. He's so slow. It's beautiful. It's a joy to watch him play.
"He's in that MVP race, too. He's shown night in and night out that he can get busy out there. Not only busy, but embarrass you while he's doing it."

The Mavericks have been mediocre without Doncic this season, going 0-5 when the Slovenian star isn't playing. Still, Dallas (28-25) is still fourth in the Western Confernce. Plus, they're one of the teams that could pursue Kyrie Irving, who has demanded a trade out of the Brooklyn Nets.

The Mavs will play against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night.
