Earlier Wednesday, Green announced the return of his podcast, "The Draymond Green Show," similar to how Michael Jordan announced his return to the NBA in 1995.

Green has encountered a ton of backlash regarding his podcast in the past. Some of the criticism came during the playoffs last season, when the defensive forward regularly uploaded an episode after each game. During Game 3 of the 2022 NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics, the Warriors lost and Draymond quickly uploaded new content.

The four-time champion defended his podcast, saying that it didn't serve as a distraction to his play against Boston. Since then, the show has become consistent in bringing new content to Green's avid listeners. However, it came to a sudden halt after an episode with De'Aaron Fox was released in late October.

Luckily for fans of the show, Green has announced his show's return. Although there's been no mention of a specific date when the new episode will be out, Draymond left a familiar impression on fans.

Draymond Green made a name for himself as the Warriors' defensive anchor. In his career, he's been named to the All-Defensive team seven times. Green was also the Defensive Player of the Year in 2016-17. Having Draymond has separated Golden State from other top teams.

His numbers this season are closely identical to his previous campaigns. The two-time All-NBA slection is averaging 7.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 6.7 assists while shooting 50.9%, including 33.9% from beyond the arc. That was close to his 7-7-7 numbers last season.

However, he hasn't been getting his usual numbers in the steals and blocks department. Since the 2014-15 season, he's averaged 1.5 steals and 1.2 blocks. This time around, Green is averaging 0.7 steals and 0.9 blocks. It could be the outcome of him aging and slowly losing a step. But he's still an excellent help defender.
