The Golden State Warriors visited the White House to meet the President of the United States, Joe Biden, in celebration of their 2021-22 NBA championship.

The day was filled with iconic moments for the team, as it was their first trip back to the prestigious home in four years.

The Warriors are in celebration mode as they've finally made it back to the White House to be recognized by President Biden. Their last trip back was in 2015, when they won their first title of their dynasty. At the time, it was former President Barack Obama who hosted them.

Their superstar, Steph Curry, gave a speech in the White House during their trip. It was a special moment for Curry as they were celebrating his fourth championship and his first win as the Finals MVP.

"We are a team, we do it together, and to be able to celebrate our championship together with you here, it means a lot. To bring that trophy here, it means a lot," Curry said.
"I think we were here seven years ago, for our first championship. So, to have another opportunity to be here, it means the world."

Curry wasn't the only one to give his speech. President Biden also shared some words of encouragement that were dedicated to the entire Warriors organization, who went through a lot to win their 2022 title.

"The last couple of years are pretty tough. They struggled in 2020, missed the playoffs in '21 and critics wondered if this team was gone for good, as a championship team."
"But fellows, I know what it feels like," President Biden chuckled. "I've been there. But my dad used to say, 'Joe, get up. Just get up and never give up.'"

The event didn't end there. The Warriors gifted the president his own custom jersey to honor him as the 46th president of the United States of America. Curry also handed Vice President Kamala Harris her own custom jersey.

No Warriors-related event will be complete without a Draymond Green snippet. The defensive forward shared his opinion about his teammate, Curry, on possibly becoming the president of the country. In true Draymond fashion, he credited his teammates and why it's possible.

"I thought Steph's speech was incredible. I think Steph could someday run for president of the United States. What better person? Smart, put together, doesn’t really make mistakes. Why not?"

What can the Golden State Warriors do to return to the White House?

The Golden State Warriors have been incredible in the past few years as a dynasty. However, this season hasn't been kind to them as they've continued to struggle to get reasonable wins. They're currently seventh in the Western Conference standings with a 22-22 record, which isn't impressive if they want to defend their title.

James Wiseman hasn't helped the organization much ever since his season-long injury last season. The Warriors could try and trade him next month, as the trade deadline is slowly approaching. But it could be difficult to trade Wiseman due to his history of getting hurt consistently.

Things could change for the Golden State Warriors if they get a good return package.
