Fans react to Dillon Brooks getting suspended for his 18th technical foul

Dillon Brooks of the Memphis Grizzlies has been suspended for Wednesday (Mar. 22)'s game against the Houston Rockets for picking up his 18th technical foul.

Brooks had his 18th technical foul last night (Mar. 21) against the Dallas Mavericks, which the Grizzlies won 112-108. Fans couldn't hold themselves to the news about Brooks' technical foul. This isn't the first time the forward will be suspended for the same reason. A few weeks ago, the Memphis forward wasn't allowed to play, as he got his 16th technical foul of the season.

The 6-foot-7 forward got his 18th technical foul after a sequence where he dunked on Mavs' bigman, Maxi Kleber. Brooks taunted the opposing team's bench, more specifically, Theo Pinson. The officials issued a technical foul on the forward later.

After his latest technical foul, fans couldn't help but troll the defensive specialist. One wrote:

It's a fact that every team needs a tough guy to win the championship. For the San Antonio Spurs, they had Bruce Bowen, a guy who locked down the opposing team's best players. For the Memphis Grizzlies, they have Dillon Brooks, and he's slowly building his reputation as the annoying guy in the squad.

The Grizzlies aren't a championship team, not yet. However, they are on their way to shaping their winning identity. It looks like they are already. Memphis has an All-Star, great supporting cast, and Brooks is the guy who annoys fans and opposing teams.

It appears as though the forward is becoming someone he once looked up to. Before making it to the NBA, he said that he wanted to be like Draymond Green. That has been the case for Brooks since then. Fans have been vocal with how they feel towards the Grizzlies player, and Green has dealt with that before.
