Former LA Lakers champion Dwight Howard has found another team after a busy NBA career with popular stints with the Orlando Magic, Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, and the Lakers (where he won the 2020 NBA title).
The legendary big man's legacy in basketball is about to get bigger, as Howard will become a part-owner of an Asian league and play for the Taiwan Mustangs.

After defending the colors of the Taoyuan Leopards of the TI League, joining Strong Group Athletics in the Philippines and for Mets de Guaynabo in Puerto Rico, he's found a new challenge to continue his basketball career while also preparing for the transition to an executive role.

Fans had a lot to say about this, mainly trolling other NBA players, claiming Howard is about to form big teams in Taiwan with a series of underwhelming players.
"Him and Klay finna dominate," one fan said.
"Dwight gonna invite Klay, DLo, Randle, & Jordan Poole to his team, Taiwan Mustangs, real soon 😂," another fan wrote.
"Him and Ben Simmons are gonna go crazy," a third fan added.
Others joked about Dwight Howard not having the chance to return to the NBA and go against three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic anymore. D-12 claimed that he could stop Jokic if the Lakers wanted to beat the Serbian in the postseason.
"Who’s going to stop Jokic now 😞," one fan wrote.
Dwight Howard wanted to prove himself again in the NBA, but no team was willing to give him another chance. He's now focused on a new challenge, set to enjoy himself in a place that showed him a lot of love as soon as he arrived.
Dwight Howard tried to join the Lakers, and Timberwolves this season
Dwight Howard wanted to be back with the Lakers this season, and even serenaded the team's owner, Jeanie Buss, trying to get a new chance with the franchise.
"Lakers gimme a shot man, one more chance. Jeanie give me one more chance. Come on Jeanie," he said at the start of May.
He also pitched himself to the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are struggling to stop Luka Doncic in the 2024 Western Conference finals.
"You need 2 DPOY’s to Stop Luka," Howard tweeted on Sunday with a picture of himself wearing a Timberwolves uniform.
It looks like he tried everything to get a chance to return to the NBA, but the NBA has seemingly closed the door on Howard.
