Former NBA forward Michael Beasley has dropped a massive 1v1 challenge to 10-time NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony. Beasley claimed that he would “bust” Melo’s “a**” in a 1v1 game during Adin Ross’ stream on Tuesday. Adin Ross began by stating that Carmelo Anthony is one of his all-time favorite players.
As soon as his name was mentioned, Michael Beasley issued a challenge claiming that he would beat Carmelo Anthony.
“I’d bust his a**,” Beasley said.

Adin Ross was shocked by Beasley’s claim and asked:

“You beat Melo [Carmelo Anthony].”
Beasley replied:
“I will.”
Michael Beasley recently defeated former NBA guard Lance Stephenson, 31-21, in a 1v1 game at TNC 02 this Friday. Since then, he has been boasting about his prowess in 1v1 and has even claimed that he “blew out” LeBron James back when they were teammates.
Regardless of his claims, playing 1v1 against Carmelo Anthony will represent a different level of challenge in comparison to Stephenson. Picked 3rd overall during the 2003 NBA Draft, Anthony spent 19 seasons in the league and averaged 20+ points in 16 of those seasons.
He is also 10th on the NBA’s all-time scoring list with 28,289 points. Anthony averaged 22.5 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists for his career. He was known for his offensive prowess and is widely regarded as one of the best scorers in league history.
Michael Beasley, on the other hand, averaged 12.4 points and 4.7 rebounds through 11 seasons. Unlike Anthony, he never averaged more than 19 points per game in a season.
“A lot to a little”: Michael Beasley on the final score of his alleged 1v1 with LeBron James
During Tuesday’s stream, Adin Ross also asked Beasley if he had defeated LeBron James in a 1v1. He hesitated for a second before saying that he did. Ross and Lance Stephenson were left shocked by Beasley’s claim and asked about the final score.
He gave a candid reply:
“A lot to a little.”
He then doubled down, saying he “blew out” LeBron James, but didn't provide any specifics. The 21-time All-Star is yet to acknowledge Beasley's comments. James will enter his 23rd season in the league this year and averages 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists for his career. He is also the league's all-time leading scorer with 42,184 points.
