The Indiana Pacers defeated the OKC Thunder 116-107 in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The Pacers now lead the series 2-1.
Bennedict Mathurin led Indiana with 27 points on 9-for-12 (2-for-3 from the 3-point line) off the bench. Tyrese Haliburton finished with 22 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds on 9-for-17, including 4-for-8 from 3-point range.
Pascal Siakam had 21 points, six rebounds and four assists on 8-for-14, while T.J. McConnell added 10 points, five assists and five steals off the bench.

Jalen Williams led OKC with 26 points and six rebounds on 9-for-18, while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished with 24 points and eight rebounds on 9-for-20. Chet Holmgren added 20 points and 10 rebounds on 6-for-15, while Luguentz Dort scored 12 points on 4-for-8 (4-for-5 on 3-pointers).

The teams split the first two games of the series in OKC. The Pacers stole Game 1 with a 111-110 win, while the Thunder evened the series via a 123-107 Game 2 victory on Sunday.
Game 4 of the NBA Finals will be on Friday before the series shifts back to OKC's Paycom Center for Monday's Game 5. If necessary, a Game 6 will be scheduled on June 19, while a do-or-die Game 7 will be on June 22.

The OKC Thunder had a 32-24 lead over the Indiana Pacers at the end of the opening quarter. Chet Holmgren scored 13 points on 4-for-5, while Luguentz Dort added nine points on 3-for-5 (3-for-3 from 3-point range).

After three quarters, the Thunder led 89-84. They outscored the Pacers 29-20 in the third period. In the fourth quarter, Indiana led by eight (110-102) with about two minutes remaining and never looked back. The Pacers are now two wins away from hoisting the Larry O'Brien Trophy.
