In the early stages of this season, Jordan Clarkson has been a constant for the Utah Jazz. However, it appears they'll be without the services of the veteran guard in their upcoming matchup.

On Tuesday night, the Jazz are slated to face the San Antonio Spurs in NBA Cup action. Per the NBA's injury report, Clarkson has already been ruled out for the matchup due to plantar fasciitis in his left foot.

The last time Jordan Clarkson was in action for the Jazz was Saturday against the New York Knicks. He logged 25 minutes of action and finished with a stat line of four points, four rebounds and six assists.

Tuesday's game will mark the fourth time Clarkson has been out of the lineup for the Jazz this season. In the three games he's missed thus far, Utah has a 1-2 record.

Clarkson is in the midst of his fifth full season with the Jazz. While the team has gone through a rebuild, he remains one of the lone veterans on the roster. So far this season, he is posting averages of 15.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game.

As for the Jazz, they find themselves with one of the worst records in the Western Conference. Heading into their matchup with the Spurs, they sit in 14th place at 4-12.

Jordan Clarkson helps local families ahead of Thanksgiving holiday

Having been in Utah for six years now, it has become a bit of home for Jordan Clarkson. Even though he isn't on the court right now, it hasn't stopped him from having a big impact on the community.

Earlier this week, reports emerged that Clarkson went to a Utah elementary school to deliver 250 Thanksgiving dinners for families in need. During his appearance, the longtime NBA guard touched on how important it is for him to give back.

"As a family we give back," Clarkson said. "That's just part of the cycle of life. That's what we're supposed to do. This is just something that we love as a family."

Having been in the league for a decade now, Jordan Clarkson has been able to do well for himself on and off the court. Aware of his position, he wants to do what he can to positively impact the community that's become home to him.

Because of Clarkson's generosity, countless families in Utah will now get to enjoy Thanksgiving.
