Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies called out a youth basketball coach on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday night. Morant wanted the coach to stop saying the N-word and other curse words in a rant after the Grizzlies lost to the Chicago Bulls.
In a post on X, a Grizzlies fan and basketball coach @ohokvontae called out the team's coaching staff for how they managed the players' minutes on Monday. He doesn't support Jake LaRavia getting more minutes than Marcus Smart, Zach Edey and Jaren Jackson Jr.
"I tried to give that ni**a the benefit of the doubt. And we on some loser sh*t. Jake playing more mins. than y'all boys and you clapping at coach Von. Lmao. We supposed to be up! This sh*t wack," the fan tweeted.

The Memphis Grizzlies' best player, Ja Morant, caught what one of their fans was tweeting and called him out for using curse words. Morant told him to stop using profanity because he should be an example to the kids he's coaching and training.
"Watch your language coach von. Your kids you train might see this stuff 🙌🏾 something I learned as well. Praying for you brother 🙏🏾🤝🏾," Morant replied.
The fan was frustrated with the Grizzlies' second loss of the season. They were in control of the majority of the game against the Chicago Bulls before collapsing in the fourth quarter, leading to a 126-123 loss.
Memphis dropped to 2-2 to start the season, which is not terrible although they could have easily been 3-1. Ja Morant missed the game due to a thigh injury, with Marcus Smart starting.
Desmond Bane had 30 points, seven rebounds and four assists, while Jake LaRavia put up 17 points, nine rebounds and five assists off the bench. Scotty Pippen Jr. was also impressive as a sub with 14 points, four rebounds and 10 assists.
What happened to Ja Morant?

Ja Morant missed his first game of the season on Monday night because of right thigh soreness. Morant suffered the injury on Friday's loss to the Houston Rockets and was even listed as questionable the next day in the Memphis Grizzlies home opener.
The former Rookie of the Year played through the injury to help the Grizzlies beat the Orlando Magic on Saturday. He was then listed as questionable on Monday before being downgraded to out. He was on the sidelines cheering his teammates, but they ultimately lost to the Chicago Bulls.
Morant played just nine games last season due to a 25-game suspension to start the campaign before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury. The Grizzlies are being cautious with their best player. They also have a bunch of good backup point guards like Marcus Smart, Scotty Pippen Jr. and Yuki Kawamura.
