Kevin Durant didn't shy away from recruiting one of the top free agents in the WNBA right now, Breanna Stewart, to the New York Liberty. During one interview, Durant relayed his desire to share the city of New York with Stewart, who's still undecided on which team she'll sign with.

The WNBA is in the midst of their free agency fever right now, with Stewart being one of the biggest names on the market. So far, only Candace Parker has made a move to switch teams, as she signed with the Las Vegas Aces. Now, it's up to Stewart to make her move in updating the fans on where she'll land next.

Durant, who plays for the Brooklyn Nets, has been openly recruiting the former first overall pick for the city:

"I hit Stewie [Breanna Stewart] the other day, and I never do this, and was like, 'Yo, it would be an incredible dynasty in New York City if you came here.'
"I don't think she's seen it yet, but. They cooking up. You get the MVP, former MVP. You got, I think, the fifth pick in the draft, and there's some good girls coming up."
"You got Sabrina, obviously. Yeah, they cooking man. They doing their thing. They're bringing the best talent to New York. If they win a chip here... Barclays gonna to be juming."

If Stewart does decide to sign with the Liberty, she'll team up with Jonquel Jones. Jones was in the same draft class as her, as she was drafted sixth overall by the Los Angeles Sparks and won the WNBA MVP in 2021.

Breanna, who's a four-time All-Star, is yet to make her decision. But she has made it known that she wants a deal that would charter air travel.

The Nets' 2022-23 season has been a rollercoaster so far. There have been a ton of ups and downs, which has made for some interesting stories. But one story that has kept surprising people is the development of Nic Claxton. Due to this, Kevin Durant's job with the team has been easy so far.

Durant opened up on how Claxton's improvement has helped the team's success this season.

"Just the focus. The attention to detail, wanting to be great. Trying different things. What stood out to me was he changed his free throw routine. That takes a lot of guts to do mid-season, especially, when you wanna shoot better, you struggling a bit.
"That's what's Nic's whole journey been about, for real. Just grinding, being our eyes. Showcasing and surprising people, you know."
