Shaquille O'Neal and Kevin Durant have a hilarious exchange on Twitter: "I don’t kno ball, but I kno how to brush my hair"

Kevin Durant and Shaquille O'Neal have been going at it on Twitter.

The back-and-forth between Shaquille O'Neal and Kevin Durant that started two days ago has just gone to another level. Shaq responded to KD’s somewhat innocuous comment about the Hall of Famer not knowing basketball by taking a dig at his haircut.

The feud started when Durant expressed disbelief that Shaq did not know who Rui Hachimura was after the LA Lakers traded for him. KD’s words prompted the Hall of Fame center to unload with this:

“I don’t know ball, but I know how to brush my hair, or decide to cut it when I was going bald. Love always THE BUS DRIVER.”

Shaquille O'Neal’s comments were slightly below the belt as they had nothing to do with basketball. Kevin Durant’s going bald and he’s been relentlessly trolled on social media because of it.

KD’s comments about Shaquille O'Neal not knowing about basketball came after Shaq’s initial reaction to the LA Lakers acquiring Hachimura.

When asked for his thoughts about Rob Pelinka’s move to acquire the former Washington Wizards forward, Shaq said he had never even heard of Hachimura.

(From the 25:50 mark in the video):

“I don’t know who the f**k that is. Who the f**k is that?! Excuse my French, like, come on, Rob! We’re trying to win championships. Who is that, seriously? Can he play? I ain’t even heard of him. … My Lakers, we are all about winning them championships."

Shaquille O'Neal’s “bus driver” dig, meanwhile, was a reference to his comments about Kevin Durant last year. O’Neal and fellow NBA on TNT analyst Charles Barkley said that unless Durant wins a championship as the leader of a team, he would only be considered a “bus rider.”

Kevin Durant will have a big opportunity to silence Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkley’s “bus rider” criticism

Kevin Durant injured his MCL on Jan. 8 in the Brooklyn Nets’ thrilling 102-101 win over the Miami Heat. They had a 27-13 record at the time, which put them in second place in the Eastern Conference.

Brooklyn had won 18 of its previous 20 games largely because of Durant’s MVP-level play. Shaquille O'Neal even grudgingly admitted that the Nets could contend for the title if they can sustain their blistering form.

Since KD went down with an injury, though, the Nets are 3-9 despite Kyrie Irving’s jaw-dropping performances.

Durant's importance to the team is clear, and if he can lead the team to a title this season, he will silence his critics once and for all.
