NBA fans reacted to LaMelo Ball getting inked by five tattoo artists in a viral video. In a video published by Overtime on Tuesday, the Charlott Hornets star was seen surrounded by the artists, working on creating his desired piece on Ball's body.

Ball added some new tattoos on his front and back, including "God's Soldier," and "Chosen One" in the front. On his back, Ball had "RARE ONE" inked below his neck and "1 of 1" below an alien tattoo, a symbol for his "Out Of This World" sneaker line with Puma.

Seemingly no part of LaMelo Ball's upper body and below the neck that wasn't covered in tattoos and that had NBA fans chirping in the comments.

LaMelo Ball's injury concerns could force Hornets to rethink his reliable star status

Out of 246 games over the last three seasons, LaMelo Ball has played only 105 games, missing over 57% of the games. The only time he played over 70 games in a season was in 2021-22 when he played 75 games.

When Ball entered the league, he was perceived as an electrifying player and perhaps a face of a brighter future for the Charlott Hornets. Five seasons later, he hasn't been able to lead the Hornets to a playoff appearance, extending the drought to nine years.

One of the reasons LaMelo Ball has not been able to deliver is because of his series of injuries, majorly related to his ankle. Last season, he exited for ankle and wrist injuries which eventually required surgery.

The Hornets still believe in their young star, but he has to remain healthy and become reliable for the franchise.
