Lakers fans were buzzing after Quincy Olivari delivered an outstanding performance in the South Bay Lakers' commanding 110-96 victory over the Salt Lake City Stars on Saturday. Olivari, who signed a two-way contract with the LA Lakers before the start of the 2024-25 NBA season, outshined his teammate and LeBron James' son, Bronny James, with a stellar all-around game.
Olivari led the team with 28 points and secured a double-double with 10 rebounds. The former Xavier guard also contributed six assists and one steal, shooting 8 of 19 from the field, including an impressive 7 of 15 from beyond the arc. In contrast, Bronny finished the game with just 6 points on 2 of 9 shooting, including 0 of 4 from 3-point range, in 31 minutes.
Lakers fans shared candid reactions after Olivari's impressive performance, with one fan urging Lakers GM Rob Pelinka not to let go of the young guard as they did with Scotty Pippen Jr. Other fans voiced that Olivari deserves more playing time with the Lakers than Bronny James.

Quincy Olivari praised Bronny James
