LeBron James was hyped after the LA Lakers' 116-111 win over the OKC Thunder on Friday (Mar. 24) night at Crypto.com Arena. The win propelled the Lakers to the eighth seed in a very tight Western Conference.

Anthony Davis had a monster game for the Lakers with 37 points and 15 rebounds. Dennis Schroder contributed 21 points and six assists, while Austin Reaves added 11 points and nine assists. Lonnie Walker IV was huge off the bench, scoring 20 points in 24 minutes.

James was in street clothes for the game as he continues to recover from his right foot injury. There's still no timetable for his return, but the team made sure that "The King" had something to cheer about after the game.

It was an important win for the LA Lakers considering the tight race in the Western Conference. The Lakers improved to 37-37 this season and are now tied with the Minnesota Timberwolves. However, the Timberwolves own the tiebreaker, so they're in the seventh spot for now.

The Lakers are a half game ahead of the New Orleans Pelicans and one full game ahead of both OKC Thunder and Dallas Mavericks. The Utah Jazz are also close, trailing in the No. 12 spot.

LeBron James also posted on Instagram and seemingly took a shot at the Lakers' critics. Some were already putting the team out of the playoffs after their heartbreaking loss to the Mavericks last week. Here is what "The King" wrote:

"To A Non Believer!!!! YEAAAAAHHHH WOE!! We here all the chatter going on behind our backs but then they wanna smile in our faces when they see us!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Man BEAT IT!! Keep cooking they asses 〰️ ! 😤😤😤😤😤"

When will LeBron James return from injury?

LeBron James has not played since Feb. 26 after suffering a right foot tendon injury. James avoided a major injury, but the LA Lakers have no timetable for his return. Around a month after his injury, the team announced that "The King" has started doing on-court activities.

TNT's Chris Haynes, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and Dave McMenamin, The Athletic's Shams Charania and Lakers beat writer Mike Trudell have reported that James is looking to play in the final few games of the regular season.

The Lakers have eight more games remaining, three of which are at home. They will start a five-game road trip on Monday (Mar. 27) against the Chicago Bulls, and it ends on Apr. 5 in Los Angeles against the Clippers. They will end the season at home against the Phoenix Suns and Utah Jazz.

Despite multiple reports of his potential return this season, James refuted them all on Twitter. He revealed that he has not been re-evaluated, and there's still no timetable for his return.
