"It won't change the a** whooping y'all took back in the day!" - Miami Heat legend Udonis Haslem fires back at Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett for saying their title window has closed

The Miami Heat have struggled to begin the season as they are just 2-5. Heat forward Udonis Haslem, who has spent 20 years with the franchise, fired back at Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett for claiming that their title window has closed.

Speaking on their podcast, "Ticket & The Truth," the Boston Celtics legends shared that they believe the Heat's title window has closed. Haslem responded by stating:

“No matter what you say, it won’t change that ass whooping y’all took back in the day!!! I know a lot about windows closing cause we slammed y’all shit and locked y’all suckas out forever ever!!! #L7 #sixgamesinyallalreadyhating"

Haslem's Miami Heat eliminated Pierce and Garnett from the postseason in 2011 and 2012 while they were members of the Celtics, and again in 2014 while they were with the Brooklyn Nets.

Pierce criticized Heat center Bam Adebayo, while sharing that he believes Tyler Herro has been the only consistent player on the roster. Garnett claimed that the Heat are lacking identity, while adding that star forward Jimmy Butler needs help. While the Heat have struggled out of the gate, they have plenty of time to figure things out.

Miami Heat center Udonis Haslem called Kevin Garnett a fake tough guy

Throughout his Hall of Fame career, Kevin Garnett was labeled as a tough guy. Miami Heat forward Udonis Haslem made it clear he isn't buying Garnett's toughness.

Haslem was asked about the toughness of Garnett, Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan ahead of their Hall of Fame induction. He stated:

"Two of those guys I would probably say I consider tough guys and that's more so mentally tough and one of those guys just do a lot of this [talking]. That's not tough at all. The definition of tough guy don't go by guys that do this [talking]. You probably want to take KG off that tough guy list."

While Haslem does not see the court much these days, he is known as an enforcer for the Heat. In 2015, the Miami forward labeled Garnett a "studio," claiming that the Hall of Famer wouldn't throw rice at a wedding.

Now in his 20th season with the Heat, it is unclear if this is Haslem's final season. The big man will have his jersey retired when he finally decides to call it a career.
