Michael Jordan was once rejected by Snoop Dogg despite offering him $2 million to host a DJ party for the NBA legend.

In an interview with YouTuber Logan Paul on the “Impaulsive” podcast, Snoop discussed some of the deals he's been involved in and some he's declined. Michael Jordan had apparently offered the rapper $2 million to DJ at an event. However, Snoop Dogg was forced to decline due to simple scheduling issues:

“One of the craziest deals I turned down was $2 million to DJ for a Michael Jordan event, and I turned it down.”

Snoop Dogg also claimed in the interview that he would have accepted the offer if he could. The rapper said that he was a big fan of the 6-time NBA championship winner and would have loved the opportunity to meet him:

"I wanna meet him as a fan, as a boss. It’s like, ‘Mike, I’ve loved you since North Carolina, I’m a big fan of yours, I love what you do, you one of the greatest to ever do it.”

Snoop Dogg does not believe Michael Jordan is the GOAT

While Snoop is evidently a fan of Jordan, he does not believe that the Chicago Bulls legend is the greatest player to grace the league.

In an appearance on “Skip and Shannon: Undisputed” in 2019, Snoop Dogg disputed Skip Bayless' statement that Michael Jordan carried Scottie Pippen "right into the ‘Top 50.’

Snoop flipped Bayless' words back at him, stating that Jordan was "just another guy" when he returned after his first retirement in 1993, and when he went to Washington.

The LA native and longtime Los Angeles Lakers fan went on to say that players like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Magic Johnson would always be above Jordan in discussions about the greatest of all time.

However, Snoop did include Jordan in his top five players of all time list in 2020, alongside Larry Bird, Magic, Kareem and his all-time favorite player George Gervin, who he said resembled his game.

“This pick got to do with whom my game resembled as a kid in the 70’s and the 80’s and to this day: George ‘Iceman’ Gervin. I got his poster, and I will always remember that poster.”

While Snoop Dogg put Gervin over Michael Jordan, the rapper obviously has a lot of respect for the former Bulls and Washington Wizards player.
