Michael Jordan's daughter Jasmine Jordan said that this year's "Thanksgiving hits differently." On Thursday, the daughter of the Chicago Bulls legend made a candid revelation about her personal struggles over the past two years and the role of her son in helping her cope.
As families gathered to celebrate Thanksgiving, Jasmine took to social media to reflect on overcoming back-to-back stressful Thanksgiving holidays.
“Thanksgiving 2024 • Mannn, I’m always thankful but this one hit different," Jordan wrote. “Last year, I was a ball of nerves prepping my son for surgery. Year before that, Mila 🐾 (her family pet dog, a mixed breed of Pomeranian and Yorkshire Terrier) passed away suddenly.”
“To come off of back-to-back stressful Thanksgivings, it feels amazing to be present, in my element, and surrounded by those I love the most. I am always thankful to God but I’m saying some extra today,” she added.

The post was accompanied by a carousel of new snaps. In one photo, Jasmine was playing with her son on her lap. Another photo showed her enjoying a beer in the kitchen while prepping for the holidays, along with a snap of her new dogs – a French Bulldog and Standard Poodle.
Jasmine had a deep bond with her pet dogs, particularly with Mila. When Mila died in 2022, she paid a heartfelt tribute to her loyal companion with a touching note:
“Season of thanks started off on a sad note. But I’m beyond THANKFUL you chose me to be your momma, Mila. Real ones know how much you meant to me. Trust that Montana misses you just as much as I do. Walk beside us babygirl. Forever Loved Forever Missed.”
