LeBron James has become one of the biggest superstars in basketball. Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green believes that James is "the greatest face of the NBA" in the history of the league.

But some aren't in full agreement with Draymond's bold statement. The NBA has had numerous star players over the years. But the game has also seen a number of individuals who have taken the game's popularity to new heights. Players such as Magic Johnson and Larry Bird in the 1980s, followed by Michael Jordan, exploded the league's popularity in the 1990s.

Since then, LeBron James has gone on to become a global phenomenon with his impact on the game of basketball. Draymond Green went on to recently praise LeBron, saying that he is the perfect role model when it comes to the face of the NBA. Green said that LeBron has also carried himself professionally off the court, not just while he's playing.

That got the attention of a couple of sports analysts who weren't quick to agree with Draymond. During an episode of the "Odd Couple" podcast, analysts Chris Broussard and Rob Parker shared their thoughts about the comment.

Broussard didn't agree with Draymond, and Rob Parker stepped up to voice his opinion. Parker said that what Draymond says has to be taken "with a grain of salt."

"That's what bothered me right there. Like this notion, like you get extra cookies for being a good person. No! That's what to be expected, it's the other way around, when somebody steps out of line Chris. Most people are good, decent people!
You making it seem like LeBron did something that nobody's ever done in the world, like good father, never been photoed drunk, never been arrested, I'm 59! I've never been photoed drunk, never been arrested, but I don't want an award for it!
I'm sorry, Draymond, and this is nothing against LeBron, you're a part of Klutch Sports, it's LeBron's thing, everything you say about LeBron is compromised. Sorry, what bad stuff are you going to say about LeBron? Zero. You gotta take anything Draymond Green says about LeBron like a grain of salt."

There's going to be plenty of praise when it comes to LA Lakers superstar LeBron James. The quote from Draymond Green is likely to be the first of various athletes praising the legendary forward.

LeBron James is closing in on one of the most historic records in the NBA. It is a remarkable achievement in history. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar holds the record for the most points scored in NBA history since 1989.

It was a record that many believed wouldn't be touched due to Kareem's career length and dominance. After Thursday night's performance against the Indiana Pacers, James found himself just 63 points away from the record. The Lakers are set to take on the New Orleans Pelicans next on Saturday.
