Giannis Antetokounmpo had a monster game against the Washington Wizards last night, posting a 30-point triple-double. However, after reviewing the final moments of the game, the NBA decided to rescind the last rebound that the Milwaukee Bucks star had.

Antetokounmpo played well as the Bucks defeated the Wizards and captured their 46th win of the season. Giannis had 31 points, 13 assists, and ten rebounds, but eventually ended the game with only nine rebounds. During the final seconds of the game, the two-time MVP attempted a layup that ended with a miss and then rebounded on his own miss.

ESPN's Zach Lowe later reported that the league decided to take back the final rebound that could've been his fourth triple-double of the season.

Following this report, fans quickly shared their hilarious reactions. Check out the reactions from the fans below.

Maybe Giannis can get that rebound in the Bucks' next game, which is tomorrow against the Orlando Magic.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the top candidates expected to win the MVP award this season. With his leadership, the Bucks have captured the top spot in the Eastern Conference standings. The Bucks have incredible winning momentum right now, which could carry them over into the postseason.

One huge reason for the team's success is the play of Giannis this season. He's averaging 31.2 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 5.5 assists for the Bucks. With his numbers, there's a chance that he could end his 2022-23 campaign as a top candidate to win the MVP award.

His competition isn't easy, either. Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics is heavily expected to win the award this season. He started off spectacularly and has kept a consistent production throughout his campaign. As far as making the race competitive, Tatum could be heavily considered by many.

Besides the Celtics star, Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets is a fan-favorite. Not only do the fans think he deserves it, but the media has jumped on the Jokic bandwagon as well. The Joker could win his third straight MVP award, but Giannis could turn things around and re-consider the voters.
